This JAM will be focused on the physics of water and how boats are created with this in mind. Participants will build boats out of corrugated foam which will be entirely propelled by liquid soap. This experiment will teach STEAM principles and ideas through allowing participants will learn basics of propulsion and fluid dynamics. Also participants will be introduced to ideas such as buoyancy and density and the basic physics behind these ideas.
JAM Sessions are designed for elementary school students.
