The red planet is an enticing destination for space travel. It has many similarities to earth, like water, gravity and an atmosphere, only in far less quantities. Science fiction makes planetary travel and living on Mars look easy, but the realities of planetary travel and colonization are much more complicated. Scientists have been working for many years to successfully lunch humans into space. Some believe that habitation on Mars is an achievable feat; however it may take another 150 years of engineering.
