Science Happy Hour + Space Navigation: Principles & Practice

This talk will cover a variety of topics related to space exploration; these include space mission design, rocket launches, satellite orbits, space navigation and human spaceflight. We will discuss the basics of rocket operation, launch site selection, how spacecrafts navigate through space and how they land when they arrive at their destination.

Science Happy Hour is designed for adults and features presentations from experts in various fields. Food and drinks are provided at each event. Science Happy Hour typically takes place on Wednesdays or Fridays from 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Members – FREE*
General Admission – $10.00

Wine, beer, soft drinks and appetizers are included with purchase of ticket.** Science Happy Hour appetizers are generously provided by Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
